The Andrew John Williamson Memorial Lecture was established in 1983 in memory of Andrew John Williamson, a Politics student at the University of Stirling who died in a tragic accident in 1981. The Memorial Lecture was created to bring a high profile speaker to the University each year to speak on a theme of contemporary political interest.
The Williamson Trust also funds travel bursaries which are designed to enable students to travel in order to pursue an interest with a political theme. Further information can be obtained by downloading the information on the right of this page.
